Saint Andrew’s Day is a Christian feast day celebrated annually on November 30th to honor Saint Andrew, one of Jesus's twelve apostles. A significant figure in Christianity, Andrew was the brother of Saint Peter and is known for being the first disciple called by Jesus, who he then brought to Christ. He was martyred by crucifixion in Greece around 60 AD on an X-shaped cross, a symbol now known as the saltire and the flag of Scotland.
