Essential Skills Qualifications (3868)

Fundamental to the skills agenda in Wales, Essential Skills Qualifications (ESQ) enable learners to develop their knowledge and application of number, communication, digital literacy. 

Essential Skills qualifications help learners to develop and demonstrate that they can apply these vital skills to a range of situations whilst at work, in learning and throughout life.

These are the revised Essential Skills Qualifications, introduced from September 2015 and replacing the previous Essential Skills Wales and wider Key Skills qualifications.
We offer the Essential Skills Qualifications in:

  • Communication at Levels 1, 2 and 3
  • Application of Number at Levels 1, 2 and 3
  • Digital Literacy at Levels 1, 2 and 3.

 

QCF Level 4: Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (08357)

This OCR qualification is intended for those who maintain the quality of assessment from within an organisation or assessment centre. (POA)
